There’s no greeting more festive than arriving at a front door to find it decorated with a decadent Christmas wreath. This year’s designs are even more glamourous, adorned with metallic pinecones and foliage in a broad spectrum of shades. Throughout 2017 metallic accents have been a hot trend for interiors, with shimmery wallpapers and fabrics, molten finishes, metal details to furniture and flooring plus an abundance of lustrous decorative accessories. Our three favourite wreaths for a touch of glitz this Christmas are Larry Walshe’s Metallic Serenity Wreath, Gisela Graham’s Gold Glitter Rosehip Wreath and A by Amara’s Silver & Brown Pinecone Wreath (all shown above). Whilst brass continues to compete with chrome when it comes to bathroom fittings, black finishes have also been getting a look in much to our delight.

Some of our current favourite bathroom designs are based on a monochrome palette with statement matt black accents complimenting calm white marbles. Combine black taps and shower controls with other dark accents including mirror frames, shower trays, feature lighting and accessories such as candles and diffusers. Or, for the bolder amongst us, go for a few statement items such as a black freestanding bath.
